PvP vs PvE for me. With 100% more rhyming in the title.

Oh, PvE, how I love thee.  Computer is camping me?  Ah well.  Cheap ability uses?  Grumble grumble I say.

PvP...  Player is camping me?  THAT DIRTY #@$HOLE!  Cheap ability uses?  (*@#ing @#$hole!

I have no idea why, but I'm just wired to handle PvE so much better than PvP.  Coop PvE is one of my absolute favorite play styles too.  Put me against other people and I just come unhinged.  It's not even the fact they can min/max or combo far better than the computer once they're skilled, it's just I can take the computer being irritating far better than another human being irritating.

When I used to play WoW, I'd PvP some, I never really got into it outside of the early level or as a break from level grinding.  The max level stuff was just terribly not fun, and don't get me started on the arena.  First couple seasons were okayish at best, after that it was just about as much fun as smashing my face into a brick wall.

I used to play on a PvP server even...well, for a bit.  It loses all fun when people set up a level 1 of the other faction and use it to watch for their targets to come online so their max level character can come gank you endlessly while you try to quest near Booty Bay, or any other travel point that's generally easy for both factions to reach.

This whole thing came to mind for one reason, I'm downloading League of Legends.  "You hate PvP and you're downloading that game!!1oneoneeleventyone!"  you exclaim with vehemence!  And my lone reply is Vs bots, man.  Vs bots.

I can enjoy games like that, I used to play DOTA back when it was a Warcraft 3 map and it was a ball.  I'm not going to enter the seething pit of childish rage that is the other players, and especially that seething pit of childish rage that strikes me too.  It's bad for the digestion, after all.
